- Coordinates patient exams to maintain workflow.
- Assists in scheduling patient exams
- Order, prepare, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Acquires and processes diagnostic imaging procedure records for radiopharmaceutical administration to patients. Records patient history and information pertinent to the exam.
- Receives and records appropriate information regarding the receipt and disposal of radioactive materials and pharmaceuticals.
- Requests and coordinates all necessary patient information including medical history, physician orders, and insurance authorization.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of nuclear medicine technology.
- Minimum of one year experience in nuclear medicine.
- Registered by either the ARRT or NMTCB and state license (Required)
