About the Role

Pecos Valley Counseling is seeking a Female CCSS (Comprehensive Community Support Services) Provider to join our team as an independent contractor. The CCSS Provider will deliver structured support services that empower clients to build independence, resilience, and self-sufficiency.

Although not an educator role, the position requires the ability to coach, mentor, and educate clients in life skills, academic readiness, and social development. Services will be provided in homes, schools, and community settings, so reliable personal transportation is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized support services that promote recovery, rehabilitation, and resiliency.
• Coach clients in daily living skills, social interactions, academic readiness, and workforce preparation.
• Provide educational support for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges.
• Assist clients in identifying and strengthening natural support systems in home and community environments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align CCSS activities with therapeutic and case management goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services in compliance with Medicaid, state, and agency standards.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Completion of Community Case Worker Short Course and 20-hour CCSS training.
• 3–6 months of experience as a CCSS provider with an active CCSS certificate OR relevant experience in coaching, mentoring, or education.
• Entry-level experience (under 1 year) in behavioral health or support services is acceptable.
• Must pass a background check per state and agency requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in behavioral health, education, or youth development.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and individualized coaching strategies.

Confidentiality & HIPAA Compliance Agreement

The Contractor may have access to confidential and proprietary information, including client health data. The Contractor agrees to:

• Protect all Confidential Information under HIPAA regulations during and after the contract.
• Implement safeguards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and security of client data.
• Promptly report any breaches or unauthorized access.
• Cooperate with investigations or corrective actions following a breach.
• Use Confidential Information only for fulfilling CCSS duties.
• Return or securely destroy Confidential Information at contract termination.
