The Quick Lane Service technician is responsible for assessing, diagnosing and performing specified maintenance and repairs with efficiency and accuracy. Must be able to perform flushes, oil changes, tire rotation and other quick lube services.
Technician Duties include but are not limited to:
- Diagnose and repair vehicle maintenance systems including, but not limited to: flushes, oil changes, tire rotations.
- Perform thorough check of customer's car (i.e., battery, lights, and tires); referring all needed repairs and preventive maintenance to Service Advisor.
- Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment; perform all lubrication services.
- Stay current in the latest diagnostic methods and service techniques across a number of brands
- Participate in service training activities; attend factory-sponsored training classes.
- Communicate regularly with service advisor/dispatcher to confirm repair order information and diagnostic information.
- Follow established safety protocols and company policies
- Complete required training assigned through the company training portal.
- Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
- Demonstrate ethical business practices in all interactions to uphold Sawgrass Ford's good image
Job Requirements

- Excellent Customer Service skills
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Valid driver's license with Clean driving record
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
