    Rosette Dining Services , a division of Southern Foodservice Management Inc.

    , a national contract food service company, is now looking to hire a Deli Lead / Prep to assist with breakfast and lunch for our corporate dining facility located in Raleigh, NC We are looking for an individual who is committed to providing the best possible dining experience for every guest.

    This schedule is Monday through Friday , and the shift is 6:00am - 2:30pm . The pay range is $ $18.00 per hour (based on experience).

    You should have superior knowledge of all standard kitchen equipment like a grill, deep fryers, ovens, and steamers.

    Candidate must maintain proper sanitation, be able to follow recipes, have a professional appearance, dependable transportation, teachable attitude, and a strong work ethic.

    Responsibilities
    Preparing sandwiches and salads, slicing deli meat, preparing egg salad, chicken salad, tuna salad, etc.
    Basic vegetable cutting and preparation.
    Rotation of product to ensure freshness.
    Communicate with manager for ordering of Boar's Head and deli items.

    Qualifications
    2 years' experience as a deli cook in the restaurant industry.
    2 years' experience in a customer service role.
    Basic knowledge of food safety and cooking.
    Basic understanding of kitchen equipment including but not limited to fryers, ovens, grills, meat slicer and dish machines.
    Able to read and follow standardized recipes.
    Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere.
    ServSafe certification (preferred).
