    Position: Project Manager

    Location: Hybrid - Onsite 2 days a week (Tuesday & Wednesday) - Columbus, OH

    Duration: 8 Month C2H

    Interview Process: 2 Rounds Both Virtual

    Must Haves:

    • Four-year professional degree and/or comparable education & experience
    • 3-5 years' experience in project management
    • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand format such as written proposals and strategies is also needed.
    • Excellent oral/presentation skills, with the ability to develop and deliver presentations, lead, and facilitate planning/strategic discussions, and mediate the decision process in a group setting and create win/win outcomes.
    • Ability to coordinate medium to large size projects a must.

    Plusses:

    • Insurance industry experience preferred
    • Certifications / training in the field of project management desired. Must have the ability to lead meetings and set agendas.

    General Summary:

    A client of Insight Global is looking for a mid-level project manager to Plan, budget, facilitate, and lead medium to large size organizational priorities (Projects) from inception to successful completion. Marginal Functions include to maintain and communicate awareness of current project/process management techniques, future development, industry trends and best practices and perform other duties as assigned.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Coordinate all phases of project life cyclef, including initiation, planning, execution, control and closing. Functional ability to manage work teams responsible for medium to large sized project delivery.

    2. Oversee the elicitation and documentation of business requirements. Identify the appropriate level of analysis and types of requirements gathering to deliver a high-quality product.

    3. Plan and maintain project schedule, with appropriate milestones and dependencies. Functional ability to evaluate project progress based on task completion.

    4. Prepare and track basic project budgets. Functional ability to analyze cost trends. Lead and facilitate cost benefit analysis as appropriate.

    5. Capable of requesting organizational resources, as well as managing time and task commitments.

    6. Functional ability to manage conflicts inside and out of the project team.

    7. Capable of leading quality gate discussions at key points of the project life cycle to determine quality improvement opportunities and go/no go decisions around next phase readiness and business case validation.

    8. Report project health according to schedule, cost, and scope metrics. Document issues/risks in a timely manner and evaluate quality of the project's deliverables.

    9. Identify potential risks and monitor them across the project's timeline. Work with project leadership to resolve any issues that become a reality.

    10. Functional ability to manage vendor/contractor relationships within a project. Capable of following corporate procurement processes and ensuring contract requirements are being met.

    11. Capable of managing the change control process. Aware of methods to measure project success.

    12. Has functional knowledge of project management and presentation software tools.

    13. Responsible for identification of opportunities to improve customer service, operating efficiency, and productivity through analysis of workflow and automation processes.
