ZELTWANGER CNC Manufacturing - USA manufactures specialized, high-precision parts and assemblies for a variety of industries such as manufacturing, automotive, and packaging. ZELTWANGER is an innovative, expanding group of companies with an excellent name in the fields of manufacturing services, automation, robotics, material handling, and leak testing.
The opportunity:
We are seeking multiple Apprenticeship candidates to complete a 3-year program that would provide an internationally recognized certification, an associate's degree in Machine Tool Technology from Trident Technical College, and on-the-job training with a certified instructor.
The Industry Consortium for Advanced Technical Training (ICATT) Apprenticeship Program is a US training program designed for high-tech manufacturing positions and is based on the German Dual Education System. Our apprenticeship program will be sponsored by the German American Chamber of Commerce and the vocational training standards are regulated by the Association of German Chambers of Commerce.
You will receive year-round block-style training where you will alternate time between school and Zeltwanger with more time at work as training progresses. Your working hours will be paid, and your coursework at Trident Tech will be paid for by Zeltwanger. As your skills increase, so will your wages.
Requirements:
- This program would be great for a young person looking to start a stable career; OR for someone who is looking to change careers. We are very open to both options
- You must pass placement testing at Trident Technical College and have proof of high school completion or a GED.
- You must complete a FASFA.
- You must be able to legally work in the US.
When would this start?
We are interviewing now and the program would start in August with the new school year.
