    Title: Anti-Trafficking ProgramManager

    Reports to: Director of Behavioral Health Services

    Location: Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice Inc - Lee County Florida

    Overview

    Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice, Inc. provides services to people of all races, backgrounds and beliefs. The Program Director is responsible for the effective and efficient case management of Human Trafficking Victims including the supervision of the delivery and coordination of wrap-around services within Catholic Charities and its community partners. Those services include, but are not limited to, food, housing, counseling, crisis intervention, immigration advocacy, medical, dental, mental health care, benefits application assistance, translation, transportation, education and employment assistance. The employee also conducts presentations and trainings on Human Trafficking issues.

    Responsibilities
    • Supervises and counsels case managers and other project staff regarding client problems and methods of assisting clients in areas of needed support, including referrals to other agencies.
    • Delivers or directs the delivery of basic needs to victims under agency care including housing, medical, and counseling services and cooperates with law enforcement to coordinate required security arrangements to provide for victim safety.
    • Maintains relationships with the U.S. Attorney and Federal, State and local law enforcement agencies and supports those agencies by providing victims with needed services and assists in encouraging clients to participate in legal prosecution of criminal violations.
    • Provides recommendations to the Director, the United States Attorney, and other leaders on procedural issues regarding human trafficking victim assistance.
    • Conducts Human Trafficking outreach, education and training activities in targeted neighborhoods, churches, community organizations, and educational institutions.
    • Participates in committees, task forces, and other organizations, with the U.S. Attorney, law enforcement, university criminal justice researchers, and other agencies involved with combating Human Trafficking.
    • Maintains accurate records and supervises the maintenance of all case files.
    • Prepares and submits monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required.
    • Authorizes and tracks the execution of the human trafficking program budget including the purchase of supplies and materials.
    • Trains case management and other project staff.
    • Reviews and evaluates facility and/or program activities to ensure compliance with state and local regulations and relevance to the needs of victim clients.
    • Follows strict confidentiality standards with respect to agency and client information in accordance with agency policy and in compliance with provisions of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
    • Seeks potential fundraising opportunities for the program
    • Monitors Sub-contracts/ MOUs/ Partnerships
    • Monitors Transitional Housing program
    • Available on call 24/7 for client related issues
    Requirements
    • Masters degree required
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in program supervision of employees, volunteers or public service.
    • Knowledge of community coordination and outreach, collaboration with agencies, and working in task force operations or similar workplace settings
    • Good public speaking ability and writing skills.
    • Computer proficiency and the ability to complete tasks independently.
