Schedule:
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday 10am-3pm, off Sundays and one additional day during the week

Pay Rate:
$50,000-$80,000 plus commission

Flooring Specialist Job Description:

Keep up-to-date on the wide selection of flooring products along with the benefits and warranties provided by eachProvide outstanding customer serviceMeet with clients in the showroom and build client relationships.

Assist customers with flooring choices (explain features/benefits, etc.)

Sell flooring, including installations.

Meet or exceed all required sales goals and metricsConduct field measurements as necessary (for work you sell and overflow as needed)Read and understand construction drawings using appropriate softwareResponsible for material take offs, create cost proposals, solicit material and vendor pricing.

Create Quotes and Proposals using both spreadsheet and StructureFollow the timelines of producing estimates and takeoffsWrite proposals, sales orders, etc.

Work with Admin to create work orders, job schedules, etcBe involved and responsible for each job and the process and help work through, and follow-up after the completion of each jobVisit job sites to make sure the installation process is smoothCoordinate with accounting to make sure that all job payments are collectedNetwork regularly, and work effectively, with other store employeesUse computer database to research the availability of merchandise and to process ordersFollow up in a timely and professional manner with all customers on requests and/or concernsFlooring Specialist Job Requirements:
Ability to read and understand plansProficient with Microsoft OfficeRFMS or other Estimating Software and strong technical knowledge of flooring.
Provide outstanding customer service and demonstrates that the customer always comes first.
Displays a positive, constructive can-do attitude.
Uses sound judgment and discernment skills.
Takes ownership for one's own performance and is actively engaged in becoming proficient at their job.

Ability to understand how one's tasks and responsibilities are related to other departments, the company business, and the local flooring industry.
