    Schedule:
    Monday–Friday, 6:45am–7:15pm


    Shifts:
    3 x 12-hour shifts per week


    On-Call:
    1–2 nights per week, 1 weekend per month


    Hours per Week:
    36


    Estimated Weekly Pay:
    $2,180 – $2,290


    Hourly Pay Rate:
    $90.21

    Job Requirements / Qualifications

    Active RN license in Pennsylvania (RN license required)

    Cardiovascular Operating Room (
    CVOR) nursing experience or equivalent perioperative cardiac surgery experience

    BLS certification (AHA required); ACLS preferred

    Experience or strong interest in thoracic surgery, surgical pathology, pediatric OR/PACU, and sub-acute care

    Ability to participate in on-call rotation and weekend shifts

    Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary surgical teams

    Responsibilities

    Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, delivering perioperative and intraoperative nursing care to cardiac surgery patients

    Assist surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perfusion teams during complex cardiovascular and thoracic procedures

    Monitor patient status, respond promptly to clinical changes, and provide critical care support during surgery

    Maintain accurate clinical documentation, adhere to hospital protocols, and support sterile technique and surgical safety checks

    Participate in scheduled on-call shifts and weekend coverage for
    CVOR services

    Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and support quality improvement initiatives
