    Job Description


    We are seeking a dedicated Progressive Care Nurse for our hospital's inpatient overflow unit, which accommodates both medical-surgical and step-down patients. This role involves caring for short-stay patients with a high turnover rate. The nurse will work within a team-oriented environment, providing quality care and contributing to excellent patient experiences.

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor and assess patients' health status and vital signs.
    • Provide patient education and emotional support.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
    • Utilize telemetry equipment for patient monitoring as needed.

    Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

    • Telemetry competency required.
    • Progressive Care experience strongly preferred.
    • Must possess a valid BLS and ACLS certification.
