    What to Expect:
    (Job responsibilities include but not limited to)Provides onsite medical coverage for Clinical Research Unit for our Dallas, Texas siteProtect the rights, safety and welfare of participants under their careEnsure that the clinical trial is conducted according to the investigational plan and all applicable regulationsAdministers test article to the subjects, or delegates this to nursing staff where appropriateReview and evaluate protocols and provide clinical and scientific supportInteract with regulatory bodies as is relevant to clinical operationsAttend study initiation meetings.

    Present protocols at IRB/IEC meetings, as requiredAssist Operations and Client Managers with sponsor visitsPerform pre-study physical examinations and review lab data and all inclusion/exclusion criteria to ensure volunteers are medically and mentally fit upon entering the studyPerform on-study and post-study physical examinations to ensure that the physical and mental well-being of volunteers is undiminished at the end of the studyInform Principal Investigator, IRB/IEC and Sponsor as appropriate of relevant eventsReview and sign CRFs at the conclusion of the studyDelegate the above as appropriateAct as Principal Investigator/Co-Investigator as assigned by the Medical DirectorEducationMD or DO degreeActive and unrestricted Texas Medical License and DEAACLS/CPR/AED CertifiedExperienceMinimum of 2 years of clinic/patient care experienceSpecialization in Family Medicine and or Primary Care preferred.

    Previous Clinical Trials experience is preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skillsMust have current active TX licenseFortrea is actively seeking motivated problem-solvers and creative thinkers who share our passion for overcoming barriers in clinical trials.
