    **Overview:**

    Streets of St. Charles Dental seeks a Dental Assistant to support our team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and education throughout treatment.
    • Conduct thorough health history reviews to provide quality care.
    • Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments using advanced technology.
    • Provide superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during various procedures.
    • Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
    • Prepare treatment rooms with adherence to safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
    • Manage supply and inventory levels, expediting orders as needed.
    • Partner with providers and teams to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize office workflow.

    Our Team:

    • Working hours are Tuesday (7:30am-6pm), Wednesday and Thursday (7:30am-5pm), and Friday (7:30am-3pm).

    Qualifications:

    • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
    • Experience in a fast-paced customer-centric environment.
    • Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification (if required under the state dental practice act).
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Access to minimum PHI necessary for job-related functions, with regular HIPAA training.
