Job Summary:

The SUNY Upstate Foundation is looking for a Cash Receipts Associate with meticulous attention to detail. Prior experience with Blackbaud Raisers Edge or similar donor database is a plus. This position is responsible for providing support to the Development and Accounting departments through the maintenance of the donor database, Raisers Edge. This position will provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Duties to include but not limited to:

Processing and recording of all contributions in the Raisers Edge database.
Responsible for importing gift information from multiple sources including daily cash deposits, online donations, gift-in-kind, direct mail solicitations as well as wire and stock donations.
Generating key fundraising and accounting reports.
Creating queries and exports to analyze data as requested.
Managing data hygiene and other initiatives to improve data quality.
Answer phones and interact with donors to provide information or answer specific donor concerns; resolve issues to ensure donor satisfaction.
Assist with special events and projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates degree and one year of secretarial/administrative experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent written/oral communication skills, customer service, organizational, interpersonal, proofreading and computer skills also required.

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge or similar donor database is a plus.

Work Days:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
