    Job Title:

    An Inside Sales Representative opportunity exists at Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation.

    About the Role

    The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial attitude, strong communication skills, and proficiency in turning quotes into sales. This role engages with our customer base in a sales-driven environment.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Drive adoption and promotion of our online ordering platform by identifying, supporting, and training customers on its usage.
    • Manage follow-up on branch sales quotes to improve closing ratios.
    • Serve as primary contact for a dedicated customer list, performing inside sales activities such as calls, appointments, and customer service.
    • Record sales activities in our CRM system.
    • Solicit new customers and collaborate with Territory Sales Managers to enhance contacts among key and target customers.

    Requirements

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with problem-solving abilities.
    • Experience in a dedicated customer service or sales-focused environment, preferably utilizing a CRM tool.
    • Built products, specifically roofing products, knowledge is preferred but not required.
    • Able to travel up to 25% of the time locally/regionally for outside sales activities.
    • Familiarity with NetSuite ERP and quoting software is a plus, along with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Associate degree or higher is preferred, while a high school degree or equivalent is required.
