The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) is responsible for managing cardiothoracic surgery-focused study protocols in the ProMedica research department. This involves coordinating clinical trials for device, medication, and registry trials related to various aspects of cardiothoracic surgery, including valve replacement and investigational medications for conditions like anticoagulation, renal failure, and low cardiac output. The role includes performing patient procedures, ensuring data collection complies with Federal and local research regulations, maintaining regulatory documents, patient-specific documentation, entering data into case report forms, and staying well-versed in all protocols.
