    ABOUT THE ROLE
    Being Health, a progressive model of mental healthcare, backed by science and experts in psychiatry and behavioral health, is seeking a Healthcare Receptionist who is highly organized, compassionate, person-centered, and dynamic. As the initial point of contact for our practice, the Healthcare Receptionist plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our patients and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment among clinical staff.
    Shifts: 2 days per week. 8 hours per day. (On-site)
    You will:
    • Warmly and professionally greet patients, visitors, and vendors.
    • Maintain accurate patient profiles in our Electronic Health Record system.
    • Efficiently manage an integrated appointment schedule for multiple providers, patients, and appointment types.
    • Promptly answer incoming calls and emails, address inquiries, or route questions to the appropriate staff member.
    • Verify and manage patient financial information, collect payments, and submit superbills and/or third-party claims.
    • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and patient area.
    • Organize and manage office and medical supply inventory.
    • Perform administrative and clerical support tasks such as, retrieving, printing, copying, scanning, and faxing documents as needed.
    • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional patient care.
    • Strictly adhere to HIPAA regulations and uphold patient confidentiality at all times.

    Requirements
    • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred; additional certifications or coursework in healthcare administration are advantageous.
    • 1-3 years as a receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role.
    • Prior experience in a behavioral health and/or group outpatient practice is required.
    • Proficiency in electronic health records systems and basic computer applications.
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service to diverse individuals.
    • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Professional demeanor and the ability to handle challenging situations with patience and empathy.
    • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and a strict commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality laws
