    1. Aveva PI Technical Specialist (Remote)
  • Experienced PI (OSIsoft) Consultant with 8+ years' experience in OSIsoft PI software suite of components.
  • The PI System consultant is responsible for installation and configuration of OSI PI Suite of products (PI Server, AF Server and Interfaces etc.)
  • The PI Consultant is responsible for collaborating with customers to design, configure, develop, test and deploy real time data solutions based on OSI PI (AVEVA)
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for configuration and testing, related to PI Data Historian including but not limited to –


      1. Developing real time data management system solutions
      2. Creation/modification of PI tags
      3. PI AF Element templates and AF Elements
      4. PI based dashboards (PI Vision/Process Book)
      5. PI AF Analytics, PI Notifications and PI Event Frames
      6. PI Interfaces: OPC DA/UA, RDBMS, PI to PI
    1. The successful candidate will collaborate with peers to translate business requirements to technical Design Specifications, and design solutions as required.
    2. Preferred candidates having experience in supporting and developing solutions for power utility industry.
    3. Utilize management skills to define road maps and delivery for complex and high impact projects

    Preferred programming skills: C#, .Net, Visual Studio, SSIS, API/Adapter calls, SQL, Microsoft PowerBI

    Additional skills:


    1. Self-Motivated and Ability to learn quickly and independently.
    2. Must be able to take on a project and run with it with minimal supervision.
    3. Engage customers/stakeholders during the entire development lifecycle.
    4. Ability to provide detailed documentation of end-to-end solution.
    5. PI System Infrastructure accreditation/certification from Aveva/OSIsoft

    The annual salary for this position is between $72,200 - $162,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.



    This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
