    Job Summary


    As a Senior Security System Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in fortifying our security posture by supporting a range of essential tools including Office 365, Azure, Sentinel One EDR & XDR, Tenable One, Microsoft Defender, and Proofpoint.

    You will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of security systems, enhancing risk management practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate potential vulnerabilities.


    Key Responsibilities

    Asset Security:
    Develop and implement strategies to safeguard organizational assets, including data, hardware, and software.

    Communication and Network Security:
    provide guidance for communication protocols and network infrastructure to maintain secure data transmission and prevent unauthorized access.

    • Identity and Access Management (IAM): Implement and manage IAM solutions to ensure appropriate access controls and user authentication mechanisms.

    Security Architecture and Engineering:
    Design and deploy robust security architectures to protect against emerging threats and vulnerabilities.

    Security Assessment and Testing:
    Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate vulnerabilities in systems and applications.

    Security Operations:
    Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents, responding promptly to mitigate potential threats and breaches.

    Security and Risk Management:
    Lead initiatives to assess, prioritize, and mitigate security risks across various systems and platforms.

    Software Development Security:
    Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.


    Minimum Job Requirements


    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on supporting tools such as Office 365, Azure, Sentinel One EDR & XDR, Tenable Nessus, Microsoft Defender, and Proofpoint.
    • Other information security related tasks as required.
    • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and tool integration.
    • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are preferred.
    • Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CMMC, ISO 27001/
    • Technology Project Management experience preferred.

    • Will lift, push or pull objects up to 50lbs on an occasional basis.
    • Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.
    • Will use telephone, computer system, email, and other electronic devices on a frequent basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors
