- Assist licensed nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned areas
- Help patients with personal hygiene and daily living needs
- Support in comfort, transferring patients, and vital sign monitoring
- PRN position
- Under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act, this position is considered a Safety-sensitive position
- Responsible for feeding patients and providing oral care, nail care, and basic hygiene
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and restroom needs
- Change catheter bags and monitor patient vital signs
- Answer call lights and assist in turning bedridden patients
- Change bedding, perform light cleaning, and organize patient rooms
- Communicate patient information to healthcare team members
- Provide recreational activities and post mortem care
- Follow all hospital rules, policies, and procedures
- Certified as a CNA in Oklahoma
- BLS certification required within 90 days of employment
- Demonstrate professionalism and ability to work with others
- Minimum 2 years of previous hospital experience preferred
- Primary language is English
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various documents
- Effectively present information to different groups
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations
- Apply common sense, define and solve problems
- Active listening and effective relationship building
- Treat others with dignity and respect
- Demonstrate honesty and integrity
