Mission Point Dental Wellness Associates is looking for a dental hygienist to join our growing team.

We are looking for an outgoing, friendly hygienist to bring brighten the smiles and give a pleasant dental experience to our patients.

We are passionate about education and oral health and are looking for a valued team member to bring their skills to our community.

This is a full time position Monday-Thursday with some two Fridays and one Saturday a month.

This position comes with full benefits.

We are looking for a well qualified and skilled clinician to join an amazing practice This is a state of the art office with fee for service patients.

We have a wonderful team that works very well together.

Qualifications:
Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license
Takes digital x-rays
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:
Performs oral healthcare and risk assessments by evaluating a patient's current health status including all medications
Performs an extraoral and intraoral examination and oral cancer screening
Completes a comprehensive dental and periodontal charting that includes a detailed description and evaluation of the gingiva and periodontium
Educates patients on the importance of good nutrition for maintaining optimal oral health
Takes intraoral photos
Treatment plans work needed and educates patient on that prior to exam
Scans with Itero (willing to train)
Develop lasting relationships with patients and make them feel comfortable
