    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a KY or compact license and strong critical care skills for night shifts.

    Responsibilities
    Work in the ICU/CCU of a hospital setting
    Care for critically ill adult patients with a patient ratio of 1:2
    Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30, rotating 36/48 hours every two weeks
    Floating to other units required if census is low
    Uses Meditech EMR; experience with this system is preferred
    13-week contract assignment
    Bi-weekly orientation is provided
    Travelers are not allowed to work as travel pairs except under special circumstances
    No local candidates accepted due to radius rule
    Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team

    Requirements
    Active KY or compact RN license required
    Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
    Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA only)
    Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
    Ability to float to other units as needed
