    Bakery Production Assistant at Michele's Granola

    Type of Position: Hourly, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 3pm to 11pm.

    Salary: Pay per hour based on experience

    Job Description:

    As a Bakery Production Assistant at Michele's Granola, you play a vital role in our Production Team. Your main responsibility is to craft various granola cereal recipes in small batches from scratch. Working closely with Production Managers and team members, you will enhance productivity while upholding the exceptional quality of our artisanal product.

    Within our small-batch production line, you will have defined tasks during each shift, including standing for extended periods, maintaining a steady pace, and assisting with lifting. Daily responsibilities entail cleaning tasks like sanitizing work surfaces, dishwashing, as well as ensuring overall cleanliness and organization.

    Basic Expectations:

    • Exceptional food handling and production skills
    • Effective communication with all team members and supervisors
    • Adherence to company guidelines on various aspects such as job knowledge, performance, attendance, hygiene, and quality of work

    Specific Duties:

    • Preparing raw materials following recipe specifications
    • Measuring and weighing granola accurately onto sheet pans
    • Loading oven racks as per Quality Assurance standards
    • Completing cleaning duties and other assigned tasks

    Responsibilities:

    • Punctuality and adherence to safety standards
    • Maintaining food quality and cleanliness
    • Following production and sanitation practices
    • Ensuring a sanitary production facility
