    Responsibilities Peraton is seeking an experienced Military Information Support Operations (MISO)/formerly psychological operations (PSYOP) and/or Information Operations (IO) Planner to perform duties in the CCMD Joint Operations Center (JOC) for integration and synchronization with Combatant Command (CCMD) staff, subordinate units, and associated joint, interagency, intergovernmental, and multi-national (JIIM) partners.

    The JOC MISO/IO Operations planner is expected to be a conduit for Information for the CCMD, ensuring all information is submitted across the Information Related Capabilities (IRCs) to be able to integrate within all plans of operations for mission analysis, analytic problem solving, and assessment of Information Operations.

    This position is located in Tampa, FL - MacDill AFB.

    You will have the opportunity to:

    • Review, analyze, and operationalize operational-level IO-related directives in support of CCMD mission objectives.
    • Work independently, as an MISO/IO subject matter expert (SME), by providing a timely flow of relevant information by providing daily reports, collecting, sharing, disseminating and completing tasks assigned.
    • Work with the Overseas Global Force Management (GMF) and processes while utilizing information system platforms Command and Control Information Environment (C2IE) and Rocket Chat rooms.
    • Provide senior leaders a comprehensive knowledge of current events with information inputs for key task, high impact assignments to provide information in support for Commander's Critical Information Requirements (CCIR's) for Commanders to make sound timely decisions

    Qualifications Basic Qualifications:

    • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of MISO/IO planning experience or without a degree a minimum of 12 years relevant military service,
    • MISO/PSYOP (37A/37F) career field and/or Functional Area (FA30) career field.
    • Army/Joint Targeting, IPB, and COG analysis process as well as a general understanding of Army Training doctrine and procedures.
    • Knowledge in JOPP, MDMP, and MCPP planning and targeting processes and expertise in developing and accessing tactical and operational level IO plans and orders Proficient in integrating MISO/PSYOP capabilities into cyber plans and operations
    • Have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience with MISO/IO planning at the service or joint level, working that support operations with Combatant Commands or Joint Task Forces.
    • Experience with integrating, coordinating, and synchronizing adjacent and supporting operations, as well as developing support for related capabilities and their activities.
    Be familiar with, certified in, or have applicable operational/field time experience in:


    • Military Information Support Operations (MISO) / (formerly Psychological Operations (PSYOP))
    • Military Deception (MILDEC)
    • Operations Security (OPSEC)
    • Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO)
    • Cyberspace Operations
    • SIGINT related activities
    • Ability to engage senior JIIM leaders and staff, and conduct operational and informational briefings to a large audience.
    • Ability to work effectively within a task organized working group and expertise with planning, integrating, and coordinating with inter-agency and intelligence community entities.     • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • Must possess a current U.S. Passport.
    • Clearance: This position requires an Active DOD Top Secret/SCI security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree, Strategic Communications, International Studies/Affairs, or similar fields.
    • Recent Joint or Service Level Information Operations planning experience
    • Army Information Operations Planner Course (AIOPC)
    • Military Information Support Operations Integration Course (MISOIC)
    • Electronic Warfare Integration Course (EWIC)
    • Cyberspace Operations
    Integration Course (COIC)

    • Information Operations Capabilities, Application, and Planning Course
    • Masters of Military Art and Science - School of Advanced Military Studies
