    Job Summary:

    Oversee and manage gift processing, system-generated donor communications, and
    donor & revenue analysis reporting using Raiser's Edge. Supervise Donor Relations gift entry
    staff. Develop the Annual Fund plan and ongoing strategies for managing the acquisition,
    retention and re-engagement of lapsed donors for the Annual Fund.


    Essential duties and responsibilities:

    Donor Database Administration:

    • Manage administrative rights and provide training and assistance for all users.
    • Supervise and assist Donor Accounts Coordinators on routine gift processing and new initiatives
    related to gift processing, acknowledgements, donor communication and record keeping


    • Develop and maintain a procedure manual for all entry processes on Raiser's Edge
    • Create and maintain all tables, funds, appeals, mailing templates, global updates. Serve as
    technical expert on all Blackbaud and integrated software such as Classy fundraising, Luminate
    Online, Omatic, etc.


    • Create routine and one-off reports, mailing lists, and data analysis as needed
    • Work closely with Marketing team on joint-systems donor communication processes.
    • Implement/maximize use of RENXT capabilities to assist gift officers in maintaining and
    cultivating strong donor relationships.


    • Manage donor contacts, address changes, relationships and event participation to aid in specific
    solicitations and cultivation strategies.


    • Be the lead on researching and implementing integration of other online systems including online
    giving, peer-to-peer fundraising, text-to-give, e-mail communications, e-newsletters, silent
    auction mobile bidding, etc.


    • Coordinate with Finance department on month-end reconciliation and reporting.

    Annual Fund Management:

    • Create and implement a comprehensive Annual Fund plan to address acquisition, retention, and
    lapsed donor re-engagement for the Annual Fund campaign


    • Re-evaluate current processes, communications and strategies for relevance and possible areas for
    improvement


    • Research and recommend un-tapped opportunities to further engage Annual Fund donors
    • Periodically measure the effectiveness of current campaign strategies
    • Be the gate-keeper of insuring all campaign initiatives are carried out on a timely basis including
    month-end and year-end closing processes.


    • Assist in annual revenue budgeting process as needed
    • Review and approve marketing pieces related to Annual Fund communications
    • Keep supervisor informed of high-level strategies and new initiatives

    Other:

    • Participate during events to insure the success of fundraising activities
    • Assist with Development department initiatives on donor cultivation activities
    • Maintain professional standards of appearance and conduct at all times
    • Other duties as assigned by Sr. VP of Development

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Computer literacy in using, maintaining, and report writing on The Raiser's Edge
    • Teaching skills to assist staff members on how to use Raiser's Edge NXT
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; individual and group presentations skills
    • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel with the ability to export and import data as needed for
    various projects including global changes for entire database


    • Highly organized with extreme attention to detail, ability to problem-solve, set priorities and
    complete work on time with a high level of accuracy


    • Self-starter with the desire and ability to work independently with minimal direction
    • Strong sense of integrity for managing confidential information
    • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a team of dedicated professionals whose
    passion is to help others find freedom from addiction


    Personnel Supervised:

    • Donor Account Coordinator/Gift-Entry personnel

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 4-year Bachelor's degree in related field
    • Minimum of one year development experience in a fundraising environment. Prefer a candidate
    with 3+ years of experience in nonprofit.


    • 2+ years of hands-on experience with The Raiser's Edge. The Raiser's Edge Advanced Training
    Certification a plus.


    • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record that will be accepted by this
    organization's vehicle insurance carrier


    • Ability to successfully complete the background check process
