Description
The ideal candidate will create, draft, and design product layouts and schemes using customer specification and recommendations. This individual will test products and make adjustments where necessary. Additionally, they will examine broken products and resolve issues for future designs.Required skills (to include and not limited to):
Experience with precision tooling and fixture design.
Experience with manufacturing process development and exploration.
Experience with data acquisition, test and measurement.
Experience in Machine DesignDemonstrated full system or product ownership.
Experience with precision mechanism design.
Experience with electro-mechanical system design.
Experience with optical component packaging.
Experience with drawing creation, tolerance analysis, and GD&T.Experience with quick-turn fabrication processes (3D printing, machining, molding).Experience with design for human factors optimization.
Additional skills:
Thermal management and testing experienceStrong materials background, and experience with physical property characterizationQualifications:Minimum 5+ yearsBroad engineering experience with industry focus.
