    Using the foundation of Talent Architecture Microsoft is embarking on lighting up key experiences for employees, manages and leaders through an Internal Talent Marketplace (ITM).

    As the Senior Talent Manager for career experiences in ITM, you will play a pivotal role in translating our career strategy into technology-driven employee experiences. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to shape how this transformative change is communicated across the organization.

    You will possess a proven track record of thought leadership, shaping practice points of view based on data, culture, internal customer needs and external best practices. Additionally, they should bring experience in planning and implementing complex change management initiatives.

    Responsibilities
    • Thought Leadership - You drive the process of creating and updating our philosophy and practice point of view for the evolution of career experiences at the company, in the context of the ITM implementation, and in alignment with company culture and practice; collect and synthesize internal and external insights and best practices, integrate them with existing principles, values and approaches; synthesize practice point of views; define employee narrative and change management approach; assist in the development of engagement and integration strategies.
    • Talent management consulting - You act as a subject matter expert to consult internal clients and members of various cross disciplinary teams on career/ talent management solutions and best practices in the industry; propose data-based recommendations, leveraging knowledge of best practices and company policies and procedures, as well as related laws and regulations. Utilize data to educate and influence buy-in and implementation of solutions.
    • Change Design and Orchestration - You evaluate business drivers that foster change adoption among a diversity of employees and managers. Assess risks and benefits to ensure project feasibility, and collaborate with a multitude of partners to develop effective change-management strategies, plans and collateral, and ensure communications and readiness materials are in place to facilitate the launch, adoption and usage of Talent Management programs/processes.
    • Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis and Application - You define, design and manage objectives and desired key results - qualitative and quantitative metrics that enable the organization to assess the consumption, sentiment and impact of managed programs and tools. You analyze a wide variety of data, identify trends and patterns, provide insights to stakeholders, and recommend solutions to correct and proactively prevent issues.

    Qualifications

    Required/Minimum Qualifications
    • 10+ years experience in HR practices or Program/Project Management
      • OR Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field AND 7+ years experience in HR practices or Program/Project Management.
    • 3+ years experience managing large-scale or complex projects/programs.
    Additional or Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with developing, executing, and driving change for global, corporate Talent Initiatives, including consulting with and influencing senior business and Human Resources (HR) leaders and stakeholders.
    • Strategic thinking, demonstrated through execution of multi-faceted projects in Business and HR Initiatives.
    • Effective communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a complex matrix environment essential for effective collaboration and driving organizational goals.
    • Experience in UX and employee experience, with expertise in enhancing the overall user experience.
    • Global Mindset - Knowledge and understanding of global cultures, including similarities and differences. This includes the ability to work across organizational, functional, and geographic boundaries to drive communications, business strategies and multi-geography projects and teams; and adapt to a highly matrixed environment.
    Talent Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,200 - $194,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $130,000 - $213,200 per year.
