Job summary
An Assistant Professor Level scientist position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Fadi Matar in collaboration with Dr. Thomas McDonald.The selected applicant will assist Drs. Matar and McDonald in the foundation of the Ruberg Cardiovascular 3D Printing and Bio-Innovation Research Center.
The Scientist is expected to supervise and work closely with 2 post-doctoral fellows who are currently employed with the goal of initiating translational research projects focusing on stem-cell based bioprinting of cardiovascular tissues such as aortic valves and arterial conduits.
- Designs, oversees, and performs experiments (bench-level work including the use of bio-printers).
- Maintains records of experimentation.
- Collections, organization, and analysis of data for presentation and publication.
