    Job DescriptionMachine Tool Builder Position Summary for: Machine Tool BuilderWe are currently hiring 1st shift Machine Tool Builders for an automation company in Novi, MI. This is a full time contract to direct hire position.Starting pay is $25 - $28/per hour We Offer a Great Benefits Package:

    Shift Times for the Machine Tool Builder:
    • 1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:30/4:30 pm (Monday – Saturday), up to 60 hours per week
    Position Responsibilities of the Machine Tool Builder:
    • Develop build process/sequence from drawings and Bill of Materials.
    • Fit and assemble components per drawings.
    • Perform precise adjustments of mechanical assemblies per specifications.
    • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues.
    • Support a culture of Safety First and ensures safe work practices are adhered to.
    • Support a continuous improvement culture throughout the department to simplify the processes, and continuous improvement of deliverables to internal and external customers.
    • Support lean practices and concepts and ISO.
    • Support the continuous improvement by identifying opportunities pertaining to the on-time delivery and quality/accuracy of work.
    • Support quality assurance efforts.
