    Our Forensic Valuation and Ligation Support team is looking for a Director in the Charlotte, NC office. This persons primary focus will be litigation support (including valuation in litigation).

    The person should have at least nine years of experience in litigation support engagements including economic damages, lost profits, wrongful termination, infringement damages, valuation, and expert witness services.

    What Youll DoLead forensic accounting and commercial litigation support engagements.

    Takes the lead role in working with attorneys and their clients in quantifying damages, assists the litigation team with determining the financial information needed, and manages multiple engagements.

    Participate in developing business from existing and prospective clients by expanding relationships.
    Participate in marketing and business development efforts, including webinars, presentations, and events.
    Act as a key point of contact with clients.
    Handle billing and other project management tasks.
    Coaching, advising, and directing team members in managing and meeting client expectations.
    Prepare and/or oversee the development of economic damages models and reports to ensure analysis adequately supports conclusions reached.
    Participate in deposition and trial settings, including assisting with preparations leading up to depositions and trials.
    Demonstrate an understanding of forensic and litigation support standards and methodologies.
    Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.
    What Youll NeedBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field9+ years of related experience (with an emphasis of calculating damages for complex commercial litigation)

    One or more certifications (or work towards certification):

    CPA, CFF, ABV, ASA, CVA, MFAACommercial litigation testifying experience preferred, or previously engaged as an expert witnessStrong financial analysis skillsStrong interpersonal skills and active participation in networkingStrong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple projectsThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
