- Independently conducts project research within agreed upon parameters. Recommends experimental design to PIs/Co-PIs and other team members.
- Collects and/or oversees collection of relevant data utilizing a variety of techniques, e.g. synthesizing published data; conducting interviews; ordering and analyzing transcriptions; deploying online surveys; or observing and recording focus groups.
- Analyzes a wide variety of quantitative and qualitative data.
- Assists in all phases of research: from the development of grant proposals, research design and creation of instruments to the preparation of final manuscripts.
- Performs other assignments as needed.

As the Research Associate I, you will contribute to all phases and aspects of research projects as a member of interdisciplinary social science research teams at the Lurie Institute for Disability Policy.
The Lurie Institute seeks to hire 3 part time Research Associates. These positions will be 17.5 hours a week. The positions are 100% grant funded.

Master's degree plus 1-3 years related work experience required
Experience working effectively as a member of a research or work-product team
Ability to work independently, accurately, efficiently, and meet deadlines
