    DeVine provides technical and scientific support to government clients working in High Performance Computing (HPC) among other technical disciplines.
    We contribute to a technology-led, innovation-focused program committed to extending and improving HPC advances. We accomplish this goal by developing and maintaining Supercomputing networking and security & software applications. DeVine provides internal and external support to High Performance Computing systems to achieve mission objectives.
    We are looking for a Network Specialist with Top Secret Clearance to join us in beautiful San Diego California. The role is set for swing shift Mondays through Fridays. Due to the nature of our client base, only U.S. Citizens may be considered for this role. If your experience is relevant and you'd enjoy working in San Diego then please applyHighlights of ResponsibilitiesProvides technical guidance for directing and monitoring information systems operationsDesigns, builds, and implements network systemsDirects compilation of records and reports concerning network operations and maintenanceTroubleshoots network performance issues, analyzes network traffic and provides capacity planning solutionsMonitors and responds to complex technical control facility hardware and software problemsProvides the routine testing and analysis of all elements of the network facilities (including power, software, communications machinery, lines, modems, and terminals)

    Supervises complex operations that involve two or more additional functions such as, but not limited to, network operations, systems security, systems software support, and production support activitiesSupervises all personnel engaged in the operation and support of network facilities, including all communications equipment on various platforms in large scale or multi-shift operationsProvides assistance and oversight for all information systems operations activities, including computer and telecommunications/communications operations, data entry, data control, LAN/MAN/WAN administration and operations support, operating systems programming, system security policy procedures, and/or web strategy and operationsManages the purchase, testing, installation, and support of network communications, including LAN/MAN/WAN systemsPerforms system-level design and configuration of products including determination of hardware, OS, and other platform specificationsPerforms a variety of systems engineering tasks and activities that are broad in nature and are concerned with major systems design, integration, and implementation, including personnel, hardware, software, budgetary, and support facilities and/or equipmentProvides quality assurance review and the evaluation of new and existing software productsUtilizes software and hardware tools and identifies and diagnoses complex problems and factors affecting network performanceTroubleshoots network systems when necessary and makes improvements to the networkQualificationsBA/S in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related field a plus3+ years relevant technical experience desiredHPC networking experience a plusIntermediate-to-advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suiteWord, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contactsStrong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a teamCurrent Top Secret clearance or higher required; may be required to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance upon hireAbout the position:
