    Description

    Novel Education Group is currently seeking a full-time, travel-ready, Spanish-speaking elementary teacher to provide summer learning for a highly esteemed client based in Wellington, FL.

    You have the option to commute or live in the client's home during their time in Florida so anyone is welcome to apply.

    Your primary responsibility will involve collaborating with Novel to design customized curriculum for our PreK and 2nd grade clients (going into 3rd grade). Lessons should be tailored to the individual needs of the students, ensuring an enjoyable and engaging learning experience. You will be traveling throughout the duration of the position both domestically and abroad.

    The ideal candidate for this position should possess a college degree, demonstrating a well-rounded perspective and a global mindset. While prior teaching or tutoring experience is essential, a formal teaching degree is not mandatory. However, it is crucial that you are comfortable adapting to different environments, possess flexibility when working with students, and have the ability to create innovative materials and activities to sustain their engagement. Above all, we are seeking an individual who embodies qualities such as composure, a sense of fun, patience, and adventure.

    Preliminary Details:

    • Students: PreK and 2nd grade
    • Position starts ASAP in May
    • Location: In-person, Wellington, FL. Able to commute or willing to live-in.
    • Must commit to 4 months of teaching and traveling with the family
    • Sessions will occur with one student at a time
    • Fluent Spanish-speaking teacher; our PreK student is still learning English.
    • Schedule: available for 40 hours of teaching/week but realistically closer to 4-5hrs/day, full-time, occasional weekdays

    Additional Qualifications:

    • Experience working with high profile clients is a plus
    • Passport ready. You will be traveling with the clients throughout the duration of the position
    • Minimum 3 years of elementary tutoring or teaching experience
    • Able to commute or willing to live-in a separate guest house
    • Knows the developmental stages/milestones for PreK and 2nd/3rd grade students
    • INCREDIBLY flexible, hospitable and understanding. Position requires you to wear multiple hats.
    • Must be able to curate your own lessons and activities based on the student's interests and learning style
    • References readily available and willing to get background checked
    • Communicative in a professional and appropriate manner when interacting with client
