Job summary
The Security Control Assessor (SCA) is responsible for conducting a comprehensive assessment of the management, operational, and technical security controls employed within or inherited by an IS to determine the overall effectiveness of the controls.The SCA also provides an assessment of the severity of weaknesses or deficiencies discovered in the IS and its environment of operation and recommends corrective actions to address identified vulnerabilities.
We are seeking a Security Control Assessor (SCA) III to carry out various duties and responsibilities including performing oversight of security policy implementation,
- Performing assessments based on Risk Management Framework methodology;
- Advising officials on assessment issues;
- Evaluating authorization packages;
- Ensuring security assessments are completed and results documented;
