    Description
    Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. seeks to fill the position of Vice President, Technology in New York, NY.

    Architect, design, and deliver strategic software initiatives. Ensure adherence to continuous improvement and firm wide best practices throughout Software Development Lifecycle.
    Work on various key technology transformation to adopt Cloud Technologies and Engineering Best Practices. Work with other stakeholders across the technology teams to provide quality and cost-effective solution. Understand requirement from Business Partners, define scope, and provide technology solutions. Work with business partners and other internal/external stake holders to deliver technology solutions within the timelines.


    Salary :

    Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $ and $ p er year at the commencement of employment.

    However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.



    Requirements:

    Requires a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer, IT Analyst, or a related occupation.

    Requires three (3) years of experience with: Web Technologies;


    NET technologies including:
    ASP.NET, C#, Web/WCF services, and Web APIs; JavaScript; jQuery; HTML5; CSS3; Jive; JIRA; MS SQL Server; SQL Server Business Intelligence (SSIS); SharePoint; AGILE methodologies; Unix; DB2;


    NET technologies including:
    .NET core with c#, and SignalR; Angular; Bootstrap; JSON; ADO.

    NET; Entity Framework; Dapper; Kendo grid; Cassandra; Kafka; IBM MQ; SSRS; TFS; Confluence; DevOps Tools including:
    TeamCity, Bitbucket, GIT, Stash, TFS, Bamboo, Artifactory, and Ansible; and Veracode.
