    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Telemetry RN to provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent experience in telemetry nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Job Summary

    As a Telemetry Travel Nurse, you will play a critical role in monitoring patients' vital signs and providing timely interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will be responsible for interpreting telemetry data, adjusting equipment settings, and communicating with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide basic bedside care, including wound care, vital sign measurements, and medication administration.
    • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, including ECG machines and ventilators.
    • Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team to ensure prompt intervention.
    • Initiate corrective action when information from monitoring equipment indicates adverse symptomatology.

    Requirements:

    To be successful as a Telemetry RN, you must have:

    • BLS certification
    • 2 Years of recent experience in acute care
    • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
    • Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

    The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
