To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Collection Technicianto join our growing team.Summary:
The Collection Technician is responsible for clear, concise, and error-free custody and control form documentation. Further, the Collection Technician is responsible for all instruments and equipment used.
The Technician must also maintain and fully stock the contents of the mobile testing kit and inform his/her Supervisor as supplies are needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs Urine Analysis, Breath Alcohol and Other Applicable Tests
Follows all applicable regulations and approved procedures
Maintains secure/safe control of samples at all times
Correctly completes and maintains all chain of custody paperwork
Transports the specimen(s) from the collection site for shipment to certified labs
Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients
Manages office supplies (e.g. testing kits, exam gloves, bluing tablets, etc.)
Performs maintenance and monthly accuracy checks for breathalyzers
Always presents a professional demeanor
Sets up on site collection sites/clinics for clients drug and alcohol testing
Processes files using RingCentral, FileZilla, etc.
Prepares and submits supply orders to appropriate vendors/labs/clients
Prepares templates and prints rapid drug screen forms
Prepares weekly documentation / results for the MROs
Maintains an orderly office appearance

Requirements:
High School diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required.
Certification is required within one year from the date of hire.
Must have the ability to read and comprehend various job-related documents and materials
Must have the ability to perform the basic math functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Must have basic computer skills and the ability to operate accurately and quickly the telephone system and other standard office equipment
Must be able to work with a wide range of personalities in a courteous, effective, and professional manner
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Most activities are conducted within a typical, well-lit, environmentally controlled office setting
Collections may occasionally be conducted away from the local office and within various worksite settings; therefore, you must be able to operate a vehicle and carry necessary materials and supplies
Travel may require exposure to inclement weather and/or hazardous road conditions
Must be able to work effectively under the daily stress of travel, deadlines, commitments, and client issues
Your position with the Company may occasionally require you to drive on company business; therefore, you must have a current, valid state drivers license
If requested, you must provide the Company with evidence of automobile liability insurance that meets the minimum requirements in your state of residence.
If you do not maintain a valid drivers license and/or insurance coverage, you may be reassigned to a non-driving position.
