    Job Summary

    We are currently seeking a full-time Landscape Architect to join our Rochester team and provide landscape and urban design services for clients and has 5-10 years' experience in a similar role and has demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously and a desire for ongoing learning. This position will require the ability to work within our collaborative environment, utilizing both hand graphics and computer skills. Interested applicants should be motivated, creative, efficient, and flexible enough to work on multiple projects simultaneously as needed. This position in an in-office position and is not eligible for 100% remote work.

    Responsibilities

    • Assisting with and participating in all phases of project development, including site inventory and analysis, schematic design, construction documentation and detailing, and project coordination
    • Development and preparation of schematic design documents, such as colored plan renderings, elevations, and 3D models
    • Development and preparation of construction documents, including hardscape plans, planting plans, grading plans, and construction details
    • Coordination with allied disciplines
    • Review employee performance with respect to the project expectations and goals and provide collaborative feedback towards employee appraisals and reviews
    • 90% office setting, 10% active construction site visits.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture
    • Licensure in Landscape Architecture in the State of New York or actively pursuing Licensure
    • 5-10 years' experience in a similar role.
    • Ability to work within a collaborative environment
    • Ability to work on multiple project simultaneously
    • Maintain working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
    • Experience with SketchUp and ArcGIS is desired.
    • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
    • Individual will work in a normal office setting and occasionally visit active construction sites, and must be physically able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and keyboard.

    Base Salary Information:

    • Landscape Architect: $73,050 - $89,310
    • The above salary range represent a good faith range for incumbents of these positions. Actual offers will be based on experience, education level, and demonstrated skills and will be at the discretion of the employer.
