- Supervise and coordinate the work of custodial staff, ensuring that cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Train and coach custodial team members on proper cleaning procedures, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the custodial staff.
- Prioritize tasks, assign work schedules, and ensure that all deadlines are met.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate the ordering of additional materials as needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring satisfaction with the janitorial services provided.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in janitorial services, incorporating new techniques and tools when applicable.
- Implement sustainable cleaning practices and promote the use of eco-friendly products.
- Proven experience in janitorial services, preferably in a supervisory or quality control role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and coach a diverse custodial team.
- Flexibility to work a 40-hour per week schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
