Job summary
As a Cath Tech at Michigan Medicine, you will deliver exceptional care in a nationally recognized as a top ten cardiovascular center year after year. The role includes monitoring, circulating, and scrubbing on a patient population with known or suspected congenital or acquired cardiac and peripheral disease. You will join a cohesive team that allows you to work hand in hand with world-renowned physicians while performing interventional cardiac, structural heart and peripheral procedures with some of the newest and most advanced equipment.
Responsibilities
- Exceptional critical thinking skills
- You will perform technically difficult emergency care including these procedures: Emergent PCI, LVAD & RVAD placement, IntraAortic Balloon Pump use, and thrombectomy once proper orientation is completed. Other tools such as Optical Coherence Tomography, Intravascular Ultrasounds, Fractional Flow Reserve and atherectomy will also be utilized after additional training.
