    Currently ManTech is seeking a Procurement Analyst III to join our team in Glen Burnie, MD supporting our growing Defense Sector and Marine Corps programs

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • The Procurement Analyst III purchases products and parts for IT implementation and sustainment.
    • They are tasked with support logistics related to IT systems property and supply requirements for mission partners on the Maverick contract.
    • They collect and analyze data derived from Bills of Materials (BOM) and maintenance requests to identify and reduce excess inventory, thereby increasing allowances and sparing quantities for IT systems and data center assets.
    • They create standard and ad hoc reports for systems as required
    They expedite material for special programs, development, or maintenance activities.


    • They work with the designated lead on IT supply activities for the requisition, receipt, storage, shipment and issuance of IT parts, materials, and equipment required for the operations and maintenance of IT systems and data center facilities support activities.
    • They purchase required materials in accordance with ManTech and Government policies and procedures
    This position may require 10% to 20% domestic and international travel.


    • The Procurement Analyst III is a senior role experienced in purchasing, acquisitions, supply requirements, inventory management, and logistical support for IT-related equipment.
    • The Procurement Analyst III supervises and mentors subordinate project and Team ManTech staff

    Experience:

    • 5 years of procurement analysis experience in a related industry.
    • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Business Administration, or Accounting.
    • Experience in business management, supply chain, and strategic sourcing.
    • Advanced analytical skills.
    • Exceptional negotiation skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Masters degree in Business Administration in Supply Chain Management.
    • Proficiency in procurement and analytical software
    DoD contractor, civilian or military experience

    Security Clearance:

    • Active Secret Security Clearance

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
    • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
    • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
    • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
