- Deliver nursing care in the Medical Surgical unit, encompassing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and patient education.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members, patients, and families to ensure comprehensive care.
- Coordinate and delegate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.
- Maintain and update patient records accurately.
- Adhere to guidelines and policies established by BMC's nursing organization.
- Support leadership in quality improvement projects as needed.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Pennsylvania.
- Willingness to work in the Medical Surgical unit or different departments.
- 1+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Medical Surgical setting.
- Certification in basic life support (BLS).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer usage.
- Fluency in another language is a plus.
