    NHHA is seeking a passionate Director, ED National Healthcare & Housing Advisors, The Leon Institute, is breaking barriers and building careers.

    The Leon Institute (TLI) was established in 2022 as a training and education center dedicated to addressing education and training for vulnerable and underserved communities.

    We focus on offering accessible programs and expert instruction in healthcare, housing, and behavioral health. Our institute embodies the values of teamwork, leadership, integrity, compassion, achievement, respect, equality, and service.

    The Leon Institute is searching for a passionate and mission driven Executive Director who believes that expert healthcare training can uplift underserved communities, and foster societal change through compassionate, skilled leadership.

    The Executive Director (ED) will be a will be a visionary leader responsible for driving the organization's mission, strategy, and overall success.

    This key leadership position requires a strong commitment to education, a passion for empowering learners, and the ability to foster partnerships and collaborations within the community and education sector.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Develop and implement a long-term vision and strategic plans to advance the organization's educational goals and impact.
    Collaborate with the Board of Directors to ensure alignment with the mission.
    Lead fundraising efforts by cultivating relationships with donors, grant-making organizations, and corporate sponsors.
    Oversee the design, development, and implementation of educational programs and initiatives.
    Experience in public health.
    Evaluate program effectiveness to ensure alignment with the organization's goals.
    Develop credentialing programs that are fiscally sustainable. You will have a great latitude to develop innovative programs that meet the needs of prospective students.
    Maintain financial stability, budget planning, and financial reporting.
    Ensure transparent and responsible financial practices.
    Provide leadership and mentorship to staff members.professional growth and ongoing training for staff to optimize their potential.
    Establish and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
    Collaborate projects and seek opportunities to expand the organization's reach.
    Work with leaders to enhance educational needs in the nursing and social sectors.
    Represent TLI in public forums, media engagements, and community events.
    Advocate for educational issues and policies that align with the mission.
    Collaborate with Board of Directors ensuring adherence to policies and bylaws.
    Provide regular updates on organizational performance and initiatives.


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Bachelor's or master's degree in nursing, Education, Non-Profit Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
    Proven leadership experience in the education sector or non-profit organizations.
    Demonstrated success in fundraising, grant writing, and resource development.
    Understanding of educational trends, pedagogical approaches, and community-based learning initiatives.
    Previous experience as a healthcare or public health educator.
    Past work experience in healthcare or public health.
    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
    Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
    Ability to inspire and motivate teams and foster collaboration.
    Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to non-profit organizations.
