    Job Description:
    The CTiFlex Technologist is part of Intermountain' s travel agency for assignments. CTiFlex caregivers are expected to float to other facilities in the region if not needed at assigned facility. The CTiFlex tech performs a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. This position uses ingenuity, initiative, and independent judgement to perform high quality scans.

    This position functions under the supervision of local imaging coordinator or equivalent, with oversight from Imaging Services ManagementIt is expected that the CTiFlex tech.

    You must feel comfortable working in multiple units within your specialty.
    Pay and living stipend will be competitive with local and national travel CT Technologists rates. We will evaluate pay and living stipend every quarter and adjust based on market trends. Each assignment will have a consistent pay rate but can change when a new assignment is given.

    For assignments greater than 50 miles from the employee's home, housing reimbursable amounts are determined by the assigned site location and receipts are required to be submitted within 30 days of transaction date.

    The caregiver is responsible for finding their own housing during each travel assignment.
    All iFlex employees will be expected to travel to all geographies and able to work at all Intermountain sites. The management team will work with each Technologist on assignments and will take all preferences and needs into

    If working 50 miles or greater from your home, housing reimbursable amounts are determined by the assigned site location and receipts are required to be submitted within 30 days of transaction :Must be able to demonstrate high level clinical skill set in the following: ER, Trauma, Stroke, and high acuity cases.

    Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.
    Performs exams per department protocol.
    Understands cross sectional anatomy and demonstrates anatomical positioning competency.
    Familiar with the ALARA program and follows proper radiation safety protocol.
    Demonstrates ability to critique own films.
    Completes studies within acceptable time limitations per department expectations without compromising patient care or the quality of the

    knowledge and understanding of protocol relating to contrast administration. As ordered by the physician and under radiologist or physician supervision administers oral barium products or intravenous contrast material to

    and operates CT equipment and related information systems appropriately to ensure that quality images are produced.

    Minimum QualificationsAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography Certification/Registration (ARRT)(RT)(R)Relevant State licensure (where required)Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers 1+ years CT experience in a hospital at a high-level trauma centerIV Certification preferredPreferred QualificationsAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists Computed Tomography Certification/Registration (ARRT)(RT)(CT)(Where applicable) Must complete the controlled substance module(Where applicable) Must complete the initial moderate sedation moduleSpecific facility-based certifications may also be required for this role.
