RESPONSIBLE FOR:


Performs and leads modality daily operationsand provides leadership relative to the assigned area. Promotes andadvocates imaging services by remaining abreast of the latestchanges in technology and equipment.

The Lead CT Technologistensures accreditations standards are maintained as well as performsa variety of tasks involving the operation of CT equipment andother equipment/devices asappropriate.

Qualifications:

MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:


Graduate of an AMA approvedRadiologic Technology program.

MINIMUMEXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


Must meet requirements ofhighest leveled CT Technologist at the assignedentity.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONREQUIRED BY LAW:


Registered by the AmericanRegistry of Radiologic Technologists with certification inRadiologic Technology in Radiography (R) and computed tomography(CT).

ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:


BLS Certified
Evidenceof leadership, critical problem-solving skills, prioritization, anddecision-making skills.
Experience in leadership ofpersonnel.
Knowledge of regulatoryrequirements
