    Description


    Mass General Brigham Marketing and Communications is searching for a versatile Production Associate to join our team of producers, artists, and brand keepers who tell the stories of Mass General Brigham's care community across multiple platforms.

    Reporting to our Video Producer, you will be an integral member of our video and photography operations during preproduction, in the field, and in post-production.

    We are seeking a meticulous organizer who can be essential in making sure still and moving pictures make it from set to our library with rich and accurate information to enhance current and future projects.

    Working knowledge of video and photography processes and terminology is key with a strong will to learn and contribute.

    A demo reel of work or references from productions you've been a part of is required.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilitie

    Planning video and photo shoots with staff producers, art directors, and the rest of our Creative team

    Entering metadata from photo and video shoots into asset management software with accuracy and care to detail

    Working with production team to resolve any issues with asset rights and authorization

    Maintains asset libraries along with staff leads and assists collaborators with asset retrieval and contribution

    Video editing duties to help facilitate access to content by external partners using Adobe Creative Suite

    Organize and maintain motion graphics asset collections for the team based on brand guideline

    Follow all Mass General Brigham guidelines and policies pertaining to privacy, confidentiality, and equity.

    Work with production teams to create plans for filming and photography logistics including schedules, site research, and production support function

    Participate in regular meetings, which are largely virtual, but may be in-person

    Present yourself and our team with strong customer service skills to assist our clients, vendors, and system partners to create the best work possible

    Assist team and partners with selecting production music based on conversations about project need

    Creative problem solving

    Qualifications

    Experience with video and photo production in either a hands-on or support role

    Strong practical knowledge of best practices, terminology, software, and what quality work looks like

    Working knowledge or aptitude to learn Adobe Creative suite, including Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom, and After Effect

    Working knowledge of roles on a production and ability to work with members of an entire production team

    Strong practical knowledge of asset management systems including keywords, metadata, file naming, encoding standards, and storage practice

    Physical ability to safely carry and transport video production equipment and assist with setting up for production

    Maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality

    Work ethically and in the best interest of our patients and the mission of the organization

    Experience creating Microsoft Excel Database

    Experience with project management software to complete assigned task


    Experience Required:

    Bachelors Degree in related field

    2 years working with professional video and/or photo productions or demonstrated team productions in an organized academic setting with professional supervision


    Experience Preferred:

    Demonstrated work as a video editor, assistant editor, location manager, or other DIT and media wrangling experience

    Experience with managing content libraries or database

    Experience with healthcare, life sciences, or research environment

    Adobe Workfront experience
