Brockton Hospital's A2 Telemetry Unit, a specialized care environment with 42 beds and telemetry monitoring channels dedicated to adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring.
Admitting primarily from the Emergency Department, Critical Care Unit, and Cardiac Catheterization Lab, our diverse patient population benefits from the collaborative efforts of our nursing staff and cardiology team.
With daily multidisciplinary rounds encompassing nursing, hospitalists, social work, physical therapy, and case management, we strategize patient discharge plans.The unit handles a spectrum of cardiac conditions, from myocardial infarctions to heart failure, arrhythmias, and cardiac device management, all overseen by dedicated healthcare professionals.
Supported by unit secretaries and clinical care assistants, our team ensures quality care around the clock, with nursing supervisors available during off-shifts to enhance patient care, staffing, and throughput coordination.
