Responsibilities and duties:
Assist in the integration of acquired technology platforms into standard platforms, ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices.
Hands-on configuration of AWS services such as EC2, IAM, and Aurora databases to meet security and operational requirements.
Remediate vulnerabilities in the AWS environment, including server, networking, and cloud misconfigurations.
Draft and implement security processes and policies to enhance the security posture of the integrated systems.
Manage server patching and updates to ensure systems are protected against known vulnerabilities.
Configure and maintain deployment and CI/CD tooling to support secure and efficient software development practices.


Requirements:
Proven experience in a DevSecOps role, with a focus on cloud security, particularly in AWS environments.
Strong understanding of AWS services such as EC2, IAM, and Aurora databases.
Hands-on experience in remediating vulnerabilities in server, networking, and cloud configurations.
Familiarity with deployment and CI/CD tooling and best practices.
Knowledge of security best practices and the ability to draft and implement security processes and policies.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
