- A Bachelor's degree from an a school of engineering or from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or Physics
- A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics; or
- A Ph.
- Minimum ten years of Engineering experience if Candidate has a Bachelor's degree; or
- Minimum eight years of Engineering experienceif Candidate has a Master's degree; or
- Minimum five years of Engineering experienceif Candidate has a Ph.
- Must be a U.S
- MUST HAVE ACTIVE DoD SECRET CLEARANCE
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in complex radar system engineering and analysis
- Demonstrated experience and ability to perform detailed and complex calculations and knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced radar systems concepts, specifications and perform system integration.
- Experience with Bi-Static radars; or radar data fusion; or radar signal processing highly desired.

Job Description Kratos Defense & Rocket Support Services is currently seeking a Radar System EngineerSuccessful candidate will work as part of a team to support NSWCDD Radar program
This includes providing Subject Matter Experts to support Technical Interchange Meetings and other technical working groups to recommend review and approve design changes needed to meet requirements and operate in accordance with the system specifications
NSWCDD will analyze collected data to support the verification of system functionality including verification of Technical Performance Measures, Electronic Attack/Electronic Protection, and clutter performance
This is a contingent position
Experience and Skills Education/Professional Certifications:
Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics.
General Experience:
Specialized Experience:
Solid technical radar background with knowledge of radar range equations, radar signal processing such as match filter and radar electromagnetic concepts.
