    Overview


    • Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and wages ranging from $ $22.00. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.
    We are looking for a Server/Culinary Assistant.

    This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior age residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Senior Assisted Living Community in Brooklyn Center, MN.

    This casual food services- dietary schedule includes;

    * .9 FTE/ 72 hours per pay period

    • Days/evenings
    • Weekends as needed

    The Sanctuary of Brooklyn Center is managed by Ebenezer, Minnesota's largest senior housing operator. We are located near public transportation and crossroads of I-694, I-94 and Highway 100 in Brooklyn Center, MN. The Sanctuary provides programming around our residents emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs. Our Brooklyn Center community host 158 units in combination of Assisted Living and Memory Care.

    Responsibilities/Job Description


    • Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting
    • Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and happiness with their meal service
    • Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies
    • Assists with meal prep and special events
    • Provides kitchen support when needed with dish washing and cleaning of floors
    • Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately
    Qualifications


    • Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive attitude required
    • Desire to work with seniors
    • Ability to interact empathetically and communicate effectively with residents and staff
    • Prefer some work experience in a customer service setting, but not required
