Senior Security Engineer - Remote (occasional visits to Richmond, VA) Position Responsibilities:
Participate in and contribute to various IT Security projects, which include:

• Project Management Office tasks related to Vulnerability Management

● Project Management Office tasks for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) initiatives
Engage in IT Security initiatives by:

• Finalizing the Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) project

• Implementing encryption for databases and storage solutions

● Provide mentorship and facilitate knowledge sharing with the existing IT Security Team to enhance their skills and understanding

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• A strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices

• Familiarity with security infrastructure and the various tools utilized within the field

• Experience with managing and operating security measures in cloud-based environments

• 
  
• Experience with Microsoft E5 Security Suite, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft Purview is a major plus

Must be a Virginia resident
Contract Details:

• $45-$50 per hour

• 1 year contract
